I want it. its georgeous.
I could make it very very comfortable incorporating a pipsqueak log burner, full double bed.kids bunk.satalite tv.awsome sound system.
done it before and could do it again.
and could make money on it.
but its the mechanical and engineering side of things.
I would be worried about brake lines rubber boots.bearings. and all the moving bits to takle this unless I had a partner, elty?

done properly from tyres up it could be worth 20k I reckon.

I was looking at that first one yesterday and to be fair it looks to have potential unlike the remains of that commer:lol

too small but takes up as much space as the first one.almost.

I thought of doing them for a business at one point but they would be bespoke and nothing flatpack.

until I realised how much time was involved compared to profit.
probably works out at 50 a day. unless its a specific vehicle with specific design plans.
and some one who wants to pay.

About 15 years ago I did some work for a company who did horse boxes.
they would buy a second hand 7.5 toner and send it away to have a new body put on it. The back half horse box ,the fort half camper van it was interesting work as all the units hand to be hand built to fit the shape of the van ,and you cant use a spirit level eathor:rolleyes:

Time and money my friend, two things that I never seem to have enough of.
Would love a project like that.
At the moment I don't seem to be able to finish renovating the wife's horse trailer let alone a massive project like that.

many years ago when I worked in commercial vehicle finishing this was one of my favourite projects.
we converted a merc L407D into a camper similar to this.

Was and old fruit and veg van before it got transformed.

Dodge/Commer were made by the Rootes group (Hillman, Singer, Humber etc) and they were rustbuckets in the 70's, I'm surprised this one has lasted as long as it has!

And they were about as reliable as a green oval. Lol
