worse

mine when like that when i lifted it , something else is wrong

thought so . everything else is new. so its gotta be wrong top ball joint. i checked the bottoms against old and new but not the tops.... ill have to pluck out some washers then :(

still it passed today.... tomorrow will now be taken up with the camber and getting all this legal shite off it:D

wont do pics it looks gay:eek:

colin, im sure pete had trouble with positive camber, i think there are several types of ball joints, cant exactly remember now, :doh:thumb2

Evenin' I wont bore with my woes BUT it's the bottom ball joints pretty sure. The top ones are the same across the range alegedly.
I had the same probs with massive positive camber. Changed the bottom balls and sorted:D
You simply wont get enough return by taking out the little washers.
Also if you did the top arm bushes the spindle has a right way and a wrong way of fitting it:doh
Joy:eek:

bottoms def the same i measured them so can only be the top ones or the spindle . i recon plenty in the washers to get it .

so its a case of whats most likely or easiest fix

but def not the bottom ball joints ...

one thing i have been thinking though, whileon the subject. i did swap the top wishbones for the ones off makeitfit's old truck i broke that was a td so could be some variation there

i suppose the wrong camber is showing about half inch over the height of the wheel . so removing the 2mm washers should get that easy .... well hopefully

your thoughts

Well the washers are the quickest to take out:sly but I'll be suprised if 2mm will get rid of it though. Interesting to find out.
I think my old truck was early one and there is a difference but thought it was at the bottom:nenau
See you tomorrow, didnt get mine together till tonight:doh
