Bumper removal

Hi all,
I want to remove both my bumpers to check for rust and waxoil after,
I have had the front grille off but can't see all the metal.
Is this worthwhile, if so how long should it take each end:bow:bow

About 15 min each just 4 bolts

I found an awful lot of nasties when I took the front bumper off my last truck.
About half an hour to get it off, two days of welding before i could put it back.

4 bolts on chassis I fink.

but where are the bolts:doh

yse look through wheel arch with rubber flaps move if u have them still look at drivers side 1st the nuts x2 r from what I can remember through the body mount in to wards engine bay and 2 passanger side same location think they r both 17mm could be wrong

The rear is a bit harder though, as there are 2 bolts under each wheel arch, that invariably sheer.... Don't undo the ones that go into the chassis, instead go for the slightly longer approach, and do the ones on the bumper, then , if they do sheer, it is easier to work on them when not attached to the car.

Thanks for the bolt locations, I will make a start at the front over the weekend
As the rear ones may be a problem I will leave them until there is a shortage of work in case it takes more than a day or two, should have done this when weather was better
