Was having a good poke around this weekend, oh er missus!
Anyhow, spotted near side rear axle bump stop is torn, is this dealer part, or anyone know a supplier?
thanks
Dave

bump stop

i had to have one for m.o.t last year and i could only get one from main dealer.cost about 50 quid.i stuck one back together with silicone and its still intact.they tend to tear where they are moulded onto the steel mounting plate.

Didn't know you needed it for the m.o.t.? i have had one missing on the nearside since i got it the other side is held on with a cable tie..

Weird thing is: I can not see how it's got torn, like new underneath, I will maybe try super glue, MOT isn't due till Jan.

bump stop

the guy failed it on a missing rear bump stop and brake line.thing is a i replaced the front drop links as there was an advisory for them and found there was also a front bump stop missing but it never got mentioned. :? bought the one side reluctantly for what you get for the money, but when the other one started splitting i stuck it with silicone.

Mines been tested 3 times with both rear missing,if you try to remove bolts liable to shear off.

My old one had both rear ones missing and I'd removed 2 of the 4 front ones to get more droop travel - no one ever commented on em. Not sure what the score is with the new one but I imagein they might get "lost" at some stage.

one of my front bump stops came of so I used "no nails" on it, and its still there 8 months later lol
