Right then, finally started the roof rack build, here are some pics

Did nowt yesterday, bit more progress today, I may have to lift the hi-lift a bit so I can slide the waffle boards in and out :doh

What you doing about final colour? You going for a hand finish with Hammerite or some powder coating? :nenau

Good question man, I think I might have it a dark to medium grey, like graphite or something and paint the new wheels the same, then with reasonable tints and a lick of paint on the door handles should look good. I will spray it or something first until I am happy that I don't want to make any changes after it's been on a bit, then get it powder coated along with the wheels.

Loads more done today though still not finished, made the rails for the waffle boards to slide into and a bracket for an led lamp I got from overland show used for a fiver.

Like I said it's not finished but it's painted and on, gonna see what i think I need to change/add/alter/remove after it's been on a bit. I struggled putting it back on the truck as thinks had moved due to welding, I knew they would but not quite so much.
