in response to a few members questions .... here are some easy recipies.


chappaties ........

mix plain flour and a little water into a bowl untill a stiff dough is achieved .. add a pinch of salt and leave for 5 mins , grab a small handfull of dough and place on floured surface , roll out into circular shape .... cook on or in a dry pan ..... do not use a pan with oil in !!! .... once it starts to bubble up turn it over .... then after a few secs place directly onto gas ring and flip over ..... serve immediately .

incidently one important bit of making chappaties is to flip the chappatie from hand to hand before cooking , this stretches the dough , a bit like a pizza

And don't forget to use the right hand!!!!! don't ask what the left hand is used for .....yuck:eek:
