Ok,lads and lassies,this is NOT some kind of April 1st joke. While working today I saw some ex Irish Army Nissan Patrols being broke in a car body repair/recovery yard. Don't know the specs or years but if some of you are looking for bits, you could probably do worse than make a phone call or email for further info. I have no idea what is happening with these trucks other than seeing a few axles/engines/gearboxes cut from some of the bodies. There were also some ex Irish Army Transits there, some seemed to be fitted with fridge units. Might be of some use to Patrol owners. From memory ,shipping an engine /gearbox to the UK is about 100 euro with some of the transport/shipping companies. Link to Corocrans Vehicle Recovery below.
