Brake master cylinder

Hi all,the master cylinder on my mistral seems to have gone and weve been trying to find a replacement eithernew or salvaged without any joy,ive used online jap spares ppl ,local parts retailers with no luck. Any of you guys knows how to solve our nightmare , the truck has been offroad for 3 weeks now and the wife is getting tetchy ha ha plz plz pzl help . thanks.. Adi

Hi mav i did ask u to send a pic but obviously you didnt message, yes ive had to go direct to nissan tokyo as no parts supplier we tried here could locate right 1 , the terrano ones we had sent us were totally different, the origional nissan 1 is costing around £250 , so if any of you get same prob its a costly breakdown unless some1 comes up with an alternative sollution. thanks anyway guys..

How come something like that has to be got from abroad when we are running Mistrals here?.
I cannot understand it, why is yours so different?.

sent message via pm, god only knows why mine should be any different than terrano but our mechanic tried everywhere and so did i locally both new and used,i do know that when ever i have had to enter the chasi number for any reason its not recognised. my origional cylinder is a nissan own and one we had sent used was lucas with totally different mountings, so maybe they used a differnt servo over there.Anyway if i come up with an answer ill let u all know.
