Just had drums cleaned and new pads fitted yesterday.
No problems when driving or braking.,however rear wheels judder when reversing up or down slope.noise on both sides.
Due back in garage next week for investigation.

Any ideas, could it be four wheel drive sticking on, or binding.

Mine did that until I changed the LSD oil and it's never reappeared.

In the olden days of brake drums and shoes, you used to chamfer the edge of the friction material at the ends...

File an angle of 45 or less, degrees on the leading and trailing edge.

It stopped the shoes grabbing as you reversed, but it depends on whether you have one cylinder or two seperate ones.

Since the Terrano has one cylinder you may need to chamfer the both leading edges as you reverse.

Might help... :nenau
