hi all i have a problem with the maverick hope you can help today i heard and felt a rumbling from the front driver side wheel checked it and the disk is badly scored i assume the pads have just gone. how much of a job is it to do the disks and pads thanks

there`s a download for it in the quick links,
it means taking the hubs off so good time to service them too

badly scored disk will not cause what you describe unless the pads are down to the metal and even then only on braking, I suspect a hub problem, remove it and go for a drive to prove it, Rick

pads were down to metal on driver side disk really badly scored but changed easily. the other side changed disk not a problem both slider pins seized right up managed to get one free the one that was new last year sheared off theres about 10mm left sticking out of carrier so my question is it worth soaking it over night or can i just drill it out thanks

drill the other end of the calliper in line with the stuck slider pin, then drift it out, if you try and drill the pin the drill will wander into the easier to drill cast I have tried both methods and now go for the drift out method every time just fill the drift hole with epoxy or high temp silicone to stop water getting in, Rick

do milners sell slider pins

I think so but there is a regular seller on Ebay Brake masterparts or something like that, does the lot,you will need to know the diameter and lenght of your pins, Rick

The Milners link above refers to a set I bought last week for my 2001 T2.
Fitted perfectly - don't know if Maverick is the same but presume so.
Pins are approx 62mm long x 10mm dia.
