Hello Supalot,

Nice to see you got in ok,

I am sure someone will be along with some advice soon, as i am sure this cannot be the first time this has happened.

Are there any symptoms or have you just notice that there is wear?.

I will have a look in some of the old posts,

worn calipers

hi supalot.
is there enough room to have the holes drilled out over size and have sleeves fitted.
or bodge it by using a slither of copper tube , or hammer a nail flat and place where the play is .this will only work if caliper is
NOT REQUIRED TO SLIDE
rgds.iandouglas.
ps.
if the above bodge works you may get someone to braze it and refile to original size
PPS..
DONT DO ANYTHING THAT MAY COMPRMISE YOUR BRAKES.

Hello Superlot,

Not much help on this one are we. Guess no ones came across it before that has logged in lately.

But if you do need to buy new then give me a shout and i will see if i can get a price for you, have you been given a price?.

Mav.

prob be cheaper just to buy new brackets by time you pay someone to make sleeves...

think i seen some for terrano in nissan when in gettin slider pin kit near sure they were about 40 quid plus browns tip but dont quote me on that cos i wasnt actually lookin for them

solved my caliper problem by buying 2 new bottom pivot bolts these are a larger size . the holes had worn enough as to allow these to be tightend up securely.
