Hi guys done the body lift which wasn't as bad as I thought done most of it on my own just got the wife to adjust jack

Sorted the front bumper and raised it and looks ok

Removed the rear bumper but I can't work out how to refit it to the new height

Any ideas guys ?

One idea I had was to make brackets and mount the bumper to the top of the chassis I'd only need to cut the original bumper iron brackets down a bit and I will slot in nicely then drill new holes for the brackets by the wheels and job done or is that not a good idea ?

Hi guys managed to sort the rear bumper out today and it was easier than I thought to do

Problem being I can upload the pics from my iPad but I could send them to someone who could upload them ???

I couldn't find any pics before I relocated my bumper so hopefully these will help someone in the future.

If someone wants me to email them just pm me your email address andp I'll send them over

A big thank you to 96terrano for putting the pics up.

Hopefully they will help anyone who needs there rear bumper lifted after a body lift.

It was fairly straight forward to be honest

It's a case of cutting the bumper iron brackets in half the making a bracket about 4" long rest the bumper iron on top of the chassis line the original holes towards the rear of the chassis and the bracket holds them together.

I used the original bolts to hold the bracket to bumper iron and a big old nut and bolt with big washers as the holes in the chassis are square.

As for where the bumper fixes inside the wheel arch just remove the bumper from the bracket not the bracket from the chassis these tend to brake !!!

Re drill the holes approx 2" higher and away you go.
