I read all these stories of people on here about their rusty Terranos and the repairs etc. My hat off to such a dedicated bunch. Reminds me of my Land Rovering days. I wished that they had used some decent rustproofing in the factory too.

Are you gonna weld it up ? Or do you have other plans for the rolling chassis ?

Same old same old  but at least it's easy to get at it now. Cut n shut, wont take long :thumbs
Been doing worse than that on mine and it's still on the chassis, well mainly :lol

mines defiantly not as bad as that, i'm only taking the body off to protect it properly

nah its too much its rotten everywher even what looks like a good bit so i'll be doing a bit of thinking & replanning as i like my heating & operating windows ect so classic tube body ain't gonna cut it. :augie

Aww :( I hope you get it all sorted out

I feel lucky, mine is pretty much immaculate underneath from what I can see, lady who had it from new had it waxoyl'd the 3rd year she had it

I'm about to redo it with another 5 litres tomorrow hopefully or failing that over a few nights after work next week

MOT hopefully next Wednesday or Thursday depending on how soon I can get it booked in, scared to death :(, I've put so much time and money into getting this car straight :bow:bow

Just weld up some bars, remount seats and steering colum onto chassis and run it how it is, be brilliant fun as you would get all the sounds and smells of the engine and rubbish gear. Be able to see everything working, also see exactly where youre wheels are when offroading, would love to do that with a scrap terrano or another separate chassis 4X4, be epic fun

Finally got the bugger in the workshop!

Finally got the bugger in the workshop, I've only been waiting months:doh
I only get down there one day a week :(
