If you must, I guess about 5mm or as much as the exposed thread showing through your wheel
Far better off getting proper wheels with a good offset. What size tyres are you going for ?

I want to keep my standard wheels and tyres I just want them to stick out further so the car has got a bit more stance

I've seen kits on eBay that offer 30mm but come with the nuts however all of my nuts are captive so how would I go about replacing them?

Doesn't help when the pic isn't even of the item you're buying :doh
This is the only kind of spacer to use as it's strong enough.

£25 a corner though I'd rather get some tidy wheels.
Anyroad up, if you want this sort of spacer, just measure + 30mm from what you have now and see if the new position will be still within the arch plastic :thumbs

ive got 30mm spacers, gives me an offset of -30 so level with wheel arches. like the ebay link items tho i waited for 2nd hand items to pop up.

some b4 and after pics.

My wheels and tyres are already at that position the same as yours above with no spacers so presumably they will come out of the arch when I add spacers

Yep and so a bonus point for any evil stealth tax collecting plod munster
