get a 3 ton from machine mart and a pair of 6 ton stands (3t) each, you wont have any problems with them.:thumb2

I bought one of those 3 tonne jacks, quite a high lift, and the top pad can be removed and you can fit one of those lifting beams, haven't found the need on the Mav, but may be helpful on non-chassis cars. (Normal cars:lol )

I have used it a few times and it has been more than capable of lifting a corner of the T2 up. I always use blocks under the car though before getting underneath it.

I am actually thinking of getting another at some point to lift both sides at once.

first thing i saw in their ad was--Just three strokes raises this?? :lol:lol

they are good jacks but i prefer the larger lifting cup myself, that way you can lift from the diff. :thumb2
