are we sure 265/75/R16 fits a 2" ish lifter terrano without the need for other mods ?

No - you need to cut the front bumper, remove the mud flaps and take a big hammer and grinder etc to the back of the inner wing, tweak or remove the front bumoer stiffener etc. All depends on the precise size of the tyres not all tyres are the size they say they are.

What ar you looking at getting.

and what rims they are going on

but you can make em fit whatever:bow

they are going on 2001/2002 nissan terrano rims with a 25mm offset

well if they are good just get them. you dont get into the reall headache until you get to 34" tyres cos your hitting the tops of the tubs and everything

the rest is trimable .

Due to an ebay listing error they cost me £31 :lol

so they will fit.

needs four tyres but if anyone can suggest something that fits better i will go with that.
(came with 235/75/16) 2 shagged 2 ok)

TBH if its just break out the Jigsaw and some minor flap removal :lol then f**k it , lets do it.

My 265/75/16s are still touching on a fairly regular basis, at the rear off road at the side and top of the arches/tubs and at the front on the road again at the top of the arches, thats with the bumpstops still in place too.

terra you need to do the thing you told me about... put bigger bump stops on.
i added to mine and wow. what a difference no more grounding out either

its like lift without lifting it

ill try for some pics tonight

I know but I want to do it very carefully a bit at a time would be a shame to loose all the lovely flex I've got.

you still get flex nd it much better in the ruts cos the wheel cant go up so much = lift

and no its not right up to the top its parked on a steep slope into a river thats why the top stop is touching

Not really convinced by that arguement - lack of movement means lack of grip. ie if te NS wheel can't lift over a bump the whole car will and probably lift the OS wheel off the floor.

well it dont hurt to try. i cut my blocks from old tyres and glued them on with panel adhesive, not fallen off yet . they are only 15mm ish but work well.

thing you will find though eventually you still reach the highest they will go and one will always lift off the ground eventually.

but how many times you bottomed out and the wheels right inside the arches ?

swings and roundabouts

but you get bigger wheels and no rubbing this way so it works for me .and the local landies on 35" simex can only get me when they diff lock (and they have body and spring lifts) otherwise they cant touch it

its nice they show some respect for whats been done ... they always slagged it off badly and said it will never go near them.. not anymore
