had a run out today with the mrs headed for derbyshire went over the strines think its taken few thou off my clutch on them steep inclines & drops but the terrano sailed through them
 
any pics?

and rough location, just you and the missus too,:sly, should never go out on your own, just think if you got stuck,

no pics sorry, i behaved stayed on the road but must admit at times some gorgeous banks id loved to have had a go in the spectacular scenery ..never been off road with this motor yet carsinton waters come on !:thumbs
 
yeah good scenery round the lower peaks, i grew up in ashbourne, near carsington, and even i didnt realise some of the countryside/ scenery around there.

looking forward to meeting few people for this run, should be good, a nice little convoy of terrano/ mavericks over the peaks, looking forward to some picture oppertunities:sly

yeah all in all should be a good day out meatball & a convoy of terrano,s over derbyshire like you say meeting up sounds good oh & yes the camera will go well out there looking forward to it !:thumbs

am sure you will have been over there at some point its the A57 from manchester overlooking ladybower bridge with many twists & turns & bends some almost doubling back on themselves, closed prob 90% of year due to weather :doh

know of the snake pass then other lane that way is called stake hill road nr ughill moor

hi buzz not a problem your not badgering me its the reason i joined the site, not sure on the areas where you could do 4x4 as it has lots fields valleys & scenery unsure who really owns what ! . take a57 out of sheff heading to ladybower resovoir & manchester , as you are going out of sheff you will pass riverlin post office & the water works you will then start to climb after about 4 miles you will reach hollow meadows then down hill you will see the sign post for strines moor & strines pub or if youv,e got sat nav postcode..s6 6je good luck buzz:thumbs replys not a problem

yep google searched it thanks looks interesting might have to check that out next time im up round that area
