no idea what is available in France, best visit your local battery stockist and get a price, in the UK currently a top quality battery for a T2 will be well under £100 I got one a while ago for my off road motor less than £70 Rick

A Varta in Spain cost me 130€ three years ago - it lasted until 2 months after the warranty ran out! I now have a Yuasa, that was 95€, be interesting to see how long that lasts (batteries don't last long in southern Spain, apparently the heat cooks them)

JCH,
Find your nearest NORAUTO depot, they are the equivalent of Halfrauds in UK.
I paid about 150.00 eu to have the battery fitted by them (the one that is recommended is a bit small, the battery bay will take the next size up. When I get back home next week I can check and post the correct battery number) with a 3 year warranty.......job done......:thumb2

Think hes after the cold cranking amps or something along those lines. Sorry can't personally help but normally when this crops up someone pops along with the correct figures.

Hello from dept 62,

The overall dimensions are not critical as long as it fits securely and the terminals are correct. For the output you will need 90 to 100 Ah, with a cold crank of 750 amps

Battery Specification Hely

My Terrano had a type 250 battery 96 a.h. 800 SAE cold cranking amps cost £74.75 in 2010 make was Snapps Gold it lasted until I sold it 3 year later.

My Hyundai had a Yuasa they have good press.

Excellent info,am off to the suppliers this morning.
Thanks.
Jon
