Battery=Power?

strange one for you all.

This morning i welded up a little hole in chassis, nothing odd there,
obviously battery disconnected whilst doing this.

Now when i went out in truck a little while ago, its off like hell again,
like you can really tell a difference in performance?

The only thing i done is some welding, so that aint it, is there some sort
of 'reset' that happens to these things when battery off for a while?

never heard off such a thing but if it goes well after a bit of welding might do some more for good measure

Disconnecting the battery for a reasonable period will cause the ECU to reset all of the "learnt" parameters back to factory default.

i think mine was off about 2 hours or so.
