My lead is pretty tight now after replacing the terminal and I intend to replace it when I get around to it.
I think the simplest way would be to make a new one and cable tie it to the existing harness. Just cutting the ends off the old one and leaving in place, will save undoing all the covering as the original harness also contains other wires.
