Bang bang bang from front

Hi All

when I turn full lock and pull forward - all is well.

If I pull forward on full lock whilst going over uneven ground ( moving the front end up and down a bit), I get loud banging noises which stop when the vehicle stops or the ground is even...... if that makes sense.

The truck will go round and round in a car park full lock no problems.:thumbs

I've changed the shocks, everything to do with the antiroll bar

Have the steering stops been greased at all? Those symptoms point towards it, mine made the same horrid noises when reversing onto my drive, up the kerb - a few dollops of grease and all was well.

you greased the bottom arm, lock stop pivots ?

yep steering stops need lubing up :naughty blob of grease on em sorts it

I got stainless steel caps on my two road going motors never greased em and no problems, both motors came from different sources and parts of the country so do not know where the caps came from, but they work, Rick

Ahha!! dry as a bone!!! greased up and problem has gone!!

I wonder how many owners have been duped into non existent repairs over the years because of these, by garage's, there must be a fair few:augie
