hi guys
how do i change the front bottom balljoints do i need to remove driveshaft to take it out.

From what I can work out the bottom balljoint is bolted onto the bottom suspension arm so it looks quiet straight forward to do :smile:

ball joints.

my mate who is selling his mav did his and IIRC he removed the drive shafts as there wasn't enough room to remove the ball joints with them still in place.could be wrong but it does seem to stick in my mind thats what he had to do.

had to sit out on the street in pouring rain to do it
didnt have to remove driveshaft but had to drop suspension away from top balljoint and remove free wheeling hub take away circlip and push the driveshaft back
not a lot of fun on your own as you really need an extra hand but it is done and drives a lot better.
