Bag of mush in the gearbox....

Its only been a week, but I swear my gearbox is more like a bag of mush than it was. 3rd gear in particular is in there somewhere...

Seems better when I let the revs go higher, changing up at about 2.5k

Maybe its because I'm used to the laziness of a 5 pot diesel....

I think a change of gearbox oil is on the cards.....

There is a plastic bush on the bottom of the gear stick, I changed mine as it had worn, it did make a difference. Check the workshop down loads

Make sure you use GL4 gearbox oil, as GL5 will destroy the bronze fittings inside.

also overfilling the gearbox by about 1/2 ltr helps.
once warmed up does it go in ok?
