I have been having problems getting the t2 into first gear for awhile.
I have had the all the gear oils changed front and rear.
Still bad and getting worse
Could it be the clutch
It goes into gear ok while running
there are no leaks and other than this all is running fine
Any ideas:nenau
Thanks

willow, have you checked in side by pedals to see if you have a leak from master cylinder?, im sure zippy will sort out the manual for you aswell, also check the damper pipe that runs front to rear as it may be weeping fluid. :nenau:thumb2

hi wendy .
your post says it goes into gear ok if engine is running ,but not when engine is switched off.
if the above is correct it wont be the clutch .
try selecting 1st gear before switching engine off (put handbrake on first).
try selecting another gear including reverse then try 1st again .
keep doing this in all gears you will problably find one of the gears will help.
its wear in the selectors resulting in a slight miss alignment hence when you select another gear before 1st it will perhaps help.
rgds.
