Back door

After fully closing the back door with the car locked ( set off alarm ). It now won't unlock or open. Will removing the battery terminal for a few seconds remedy this? failing this how do you get to the mechanism with the door closed? David

Sorry Bud....I meant the rear door ( one with spare wheel ). I have disconnected the battery and lock.. unlock a couple of times and it has popped open. Thanks a lot, now off to recite Haiku to it as a mark of respect to these trucks. David.
