First half of the video a bit boring, watching him reverse and go forward several times, just to line up the truck.
I guess his turning circle is greatly affected by those huge tyres.
I don't know why he was giving it wellie in the mud, to me it looked as though a slow steady speed would have got him through without even splashing mud up the sides, especially with those tyres on.
But where's the fun in that.
The problem with mud is... you need to wash it ALL off as it will encourage rust.
I took mine down a muddy lane once it was up to the axles and spent over an hour washing all the mud out of all the crevices when I got back home.

haha a hour.... cant have been that muddy! i spend a hour on engine bay when ive been out!

plus each to there own... if he wanted to give it welly then good for him! i used to run mud terrains and i know for a fact id have had to give it some welly to get there!

I have one of those Karcher under body lances, saves getting on your knees when washing down the underside.

I also use it to unblock drains, work it towards the drain of the man hole cover as long as it is all under "water" before switching it on, there is no splash back
Had to do Mother in laws drains last summer, :doh 3 manholes FULL, all blocked too. Adult nappies etc by care of her carers...
Whatever it is... flush it down the toilet.
For this task, it was disposable overalls and face mask and goggles though:doh
Took 2 hours. It worked though and a year later still clear, despite kitchen roll being put down the pan:doh

I get the best jobs to do in our family...:doh
