hi all
anyone ever heard of a drive plate (flex plate failure on an auto terrano/mistral
just been towed back home on a recovery truck after strange engine noise on inspection and eventually engine removed and stripped down have found the drive plate (flex plate) has sheared perfectly the centre out of it
my car has had a engine rebuild bout 2yrs ago and seems to be a good job just wondering if they have dropped it or tightened it back on with a gun and overtightened it and caused damage or fatigue to it
anyone know if its common or you think i may be right??
hopefully be back together this week and will be running
