Mine did this years ago, in the end I did as above BUT then I disconnected the plug/socket on the assembly and sealed each in a plastic bag, to keep water out. Saves the motor whirring away.grizzler said:Rossco's correct.You have to remove wheel, remove plastic trim around wing then the inner linning you will then be able to see the offending item,possibly 1/2 bolts holding it in possition ca'nt quite remember.there is a hard plastic toothed belt that drives the ariel up and down this probably will have snapped.Saw some on ebay a while back not sure if they would fit though.
