Snapped my ariel in a underground carpark, how do I get it off? And has anybody got one for sale!
Cheers

Where is the aerial located? Is it on ther roof at the back or in the front wing?

take off the small panel above the rear door, you can pull down the roof lining enough to get your hand in with a spanner to unbolt the aerial. you can get one on ebay. regards bri

My aerial is at the front of the roof, did they do them at the back also

Easy job, assuming you antenna is at the front (I dont know when they changed)

The base and the antenna stick are seperate parts, the antanna usually snaps off just above the base and can with care be unscrewed and a new antenna stick fitted to the base. Bad news is the Nissan part costs silly money £20-£30 from memory (I snapped one clearing the snow off the roof).
If the base is damaged then from inside the car pull the cover that holds the map lights and black switches off to expose the single 10mm nut that hold the base to the coax. Remove the nut, washers and coax banjo and the base can now be removed.
Clean the base and the sealing washer and apply a small amount RTV/silastic as you refit or it will leak. 10 minute job.

Just go to a scrappy and get one off another car, most of these roof mast type bee sting ones are the same thread

yup
