As title suggests, anyone watched any of those Car versus Wild documentaries on Discovery Channel?
If you haven't, a brief synopsis - An Asian ex- rally driver and a British ex - special forces soldier get up to jolly japes taking their 3 door 4X4 'Ruby' where no car has ever gone before.
It all sounds exciting but after watching about 3 of them, I've come to a conclusion that most of it is a put up job - more 'docutainment' than true documentary. It seems that every episode sees more and more outlandish use of the winch to get them out of sticky situations and it gets a bit boring after a while. I just wondered what fellow 4x4-ers thought of it..?
