hi dan224.
The lound lane you have marked is just a gravel track (nicer run to go past the water fowl reserve )it goes through a sand and gravel works so no scratches .:clap Just a bit of water and mud to play in.
If you look at the end of the lane you will find the village of HAYTON.
there is a Byway runs around in a square ( Advise drive when its dry)
DONT TAKE THE LEFT TURN (Byway) AT 2nd X ROADS AS ITS VERY RUTTED ,just go straight on which will bring you back into Hayton
You would be ok to drive on your own ,although there has been some road repair on there where they sometimes just tip the load s and leave them till later when a JCB will come along and level them off.
SO sometimes it can be a squeeze to pass them on grass verge so always walk first to make sure there are no ruts or obstructions to catch you out.
its well sign posted but would take a print out of map just to be sure as there is a bridleway on right at the FIRST x roads .
Keep your eyes open for possible NOTTS LANES DAY SOON.
