hey chaps,

I am seriously considering buying a car for my other half, but the one I have my eye on is in Essex. I cant get down there to see it/pick it up, so im looking for a car transporter company or person.

if anyone is interested in collecting the car for me from Essex (Naezing) and if so, how much money would you do it for?

I am registering with some of those companies that offer bidding for the work, but I wanted to run it by you guys as well!!

thanks chaps!

cheers guys!

no, I aint got a tow vehicle no more :(

the car is a Renault 5 campus, but she has said its not worth the fuss so now I don't need any help!!

I was fairly sure she'd be chuffed I found one, turns out she isn't that bothered so we are off to look at a Ford Ka this weekend.:thumbs

I have a love/hate thing for the Renault 5, my grandad used to have a Renault 25...infact, he had 2 a black one and a maroon one, they had a computer that actually talked, said things like bulb failure, right wing flasher. Pretty cool tbh.

I ignored the bit about fairy dust mate :augie

actually, I've seen the Ka's with that sticker, not too bad for Heidi.

well, cancel this lads, I don't need a trailor!!

We got unexpectedly lucky this weekend, and now have a really nice little Saxo Desire 1.1. 2 owners, 50k miles, full MOT (but no tax) and apart from a scratch on the bonnet and scuff to the bumper, very good condition indeed. £550. Its an 03 plate, and drives really, REALLY well. No idea if the cambelt is done, so im doing it anyway to be safe-I have had a look at it, and it looks ok but I cant see the underside so not worth the risk!)

Im dead chuffed with it, and my OH is very pleased.:clap
