this hurts a lot but I have to stop my Nissan Terrano project. I bought my Terrano (Nissan Terrano II R20 - TDintercooler, built 2001) in december 2014 in Germany after having checked the engine's compression and drove it back to my country, The Netherlands. I wanted to prepare it to drive it over land to Cameroon, Africa, but it needed work first to get it approved for Dutch public roads and second my intention was to have it equiped with things like a winch, roof rack, lockable differential, etc.
Problems to adress were: corrosion, brake system, problem with oil leakage in the turbo.
I did succeed in getting rid of almost all corrosion, I replaced big parts of the cars body with parts from other cars that I had first sanded and epoxy coated. The entire chassis has been taken away and sanded than zink coated. The "new" chassis has been placed back under the car.
But, arrived at that level everything in my life changed, and although I still kept the car and all the pieces that I took off for several years, I do not seem to be capable or motivated to finish the project anymore.
If someone would like to make a small deal about it I will of course provide all details (hundreds of photographs, lots of notes) together with car and pieces.
