this might seem a stupid question but i have noticed some of you have taken your anti roll bars off, why is this, to allow for better articulation or? :nenau

yes. remove the rear arb for much better articulation. if you remove the front one it drives like a boat

ah right that answers it. me and my mate (both wanna be mechanics) we trying to get our heads round it as we thought if you tok them both of it would drive like a pig but just taking the rear one off make sense to me now.
thank you :thumb2

There's an easy half way house for you if you drive lots on the road. Just undo one drop link nut and bolt off the rear ARB when you want to go laneing. Simples :D

nah its going to be my off road beast mainly, but im sure ill go out once or twice to see if ill turns some heads when shes finnished:thumbs

TBH I like having a rear ARB as I don't hang about on road & when we get a caravan i'll feel happier having a firmer rear end:augie but a quick release set up is on the cards once I find the right size pin:augie

What about fitting a nice electric disconnect ? They're fitted on many 4x4s these days. Like Y61 trol and Mitsi etc :sly

well i cant tow anything big because i havent got a towing license so its not much point keeping it on. i kinda want to get her done to the max like as much as i can do but still keeping her road legal:sly

team wales for sure haha i just need to keep my upgrading going steady now without spending to much. i think you guys on here are a bad influance. since being on here for about a week i have put a snorkel on change the wheels and tyres, taken the arb off, back seat out and now am currently looking at bucket seats or a body lift haha she will soon be a beast :naughty
