So were just about to step foot out. If I get stuck its ok, I have a member of the raf with me, we can eat rabbits or something :doh

Hopefully I'll snap some good pics. Leatherhead sort of area again.

Qwerf greenlaning website :thumb2

The guy Sven that posted all the videos of the lanes is brilliant (although 4 years old)

Nice weather so have a great day and take some pics for us.

Have a good one mate.
Need to get out and test the new shocks.
No such thing as getting stuck.i call it extreme parking for a photo opp.:lol

Isn't it funny, you can be nearly tipping over on an extreme bank, can barely open the door, once you take a picture the truck looks like its flat.. :lol

I have found that, took some shots when we used to do the old cement works at Shoreham, Hill so steep, you had to look out the sun roof to look forward, but the pictures made it look like your normal motorway hill...

Oh we got lucky btw, going down wolvens lane in the depths of the woods, and oh crap it's blocked by a huge tree that's crashed across the lane, there's a frontera behind us with a load of bikes and 2 discoverys on the other side of the tree. Some monster of a 4x4 had made another route in the slop round the tree... Nobody wanted to go for it, so that just left me :doh

Kept the revs down and did this sloppy muddy u turn, they were all quite impressed how easily the terrano handled the mud at such a low speed :thumbs

Also caught up with the disco people later it seems police occupied the lane from where we came from and were taking photos and reg numbers, and were informed they've closed the lane.. :doh

Luckily we avoided this :naughty no section 59 for me :bow

Same with the offroad videos too.. Looks like your driving on an autobahn.

Yep experienced that too! :lol Although you might not have been as close to tipping as you thought - your backside will usually chicken out about 10 degrees before the truck will go over :augie

When I did the 4x4 training day, we had to do a bit of side bank driving, and the car was nearly up on 2 wheels.. I was scared silly, looking at the grass mere millimetres from the side window.

We then got out to watch the next guy do the same bit. You looked at it, and thought, wow, I'm sure that hill is not as steep as it was when I did it, then the guy told us, it was only 30degrees, and most 4x4's will hit a bit over 40...

There is no way I would ever take a car another 10 degrees, even with experience, not only that, but you have trouble staying in your seat even at 30 degrees...:lol

Haha :lol Yeh I wasn't saying your backside is wrong!

It's a very good early warning system! :thumbs

My land meter has been on 40 degrees before now when I went Llandrillo

Whoa...;) Most I have had mine up to, is 25 on the T2.

They did say as a rule of thumb, not to go over 35, as even a small mole hill in the grass can be enough to take you those extra degree's. I am sure I read some where that with a standard T2, it's 42degrees. Not sure what happens to that when you change suspension and stuff though, although, I guess any lift would most likely reduce it a bit.

I've been way passed the arse twitch angle :lol
Suspension lift is the worse for reducing the angle you can lean to. Body lift is better as most of the weight stays low .
Ideally if you lift it, spread it too. By that I mean better offset wheels and wider tyres.

Well we were held in by our seat belts. But yeah if you have the nards i imagine you can go further, this felt mucho tilty for me though :nenau
