Hello.

My first post seeking advice and only had my Terrano for a day.
It's a Terrano II, 05plate, 3 door and the passenger side window won't work from the passenger side switch.
It works fine from the drivers side switch, the window lock button works but there's no joy with the passenger switch.
I pulled the switch panel out of the passenger door and checked the wiring, there's power going into the switch on the blue/white wire but nothing coming out no matter what you do with the switch.
Q1. Am I right in assuming it's the switch itself that's at fault ????
Q2. Where's the best place to get one if this is the problem ????

Many thanks.

Chris:)

Are you getting power to the motor as well from that switch? Could be a wiring problem there? Clearly not the motor itself since it works from drivers side, so thats good news.

You need to remove the door card and have a look.....scrapper will be you only option if you don't want to start spending silly money with Ni££an.

Thanks.

Getting no power coming out of the switch whatsoever, just power in, which is what makes me think it's the switch, although I'm working from a wiring schematic which has a lot to be desired so it's conceivable I've got it round my neck, hence the asking.
I'm assuming the switch just reverses polarity to the motor in which case I should have alternating power outs from that switch.

briggie, Who are cnc fabs ? Sorry for being dumb:eek:
