So I have 235/65/17 Good year tyres on standard Terrano alloys on my truck,
and I have a set of 16" Terrano alloys as spares.
I would like to get a set of Bf Goodrich tyres for the 16"rims as I have had these before & they are pretty good on & off road.
Do you think 265/75/16 will rub on a standard truck with no lift? I realize they will raise the gearing but the truck seems very under geared on standard tyres any way

Yes, mine did big time on the front end. Inner wheel arch and pas box on full lock.was slightly better with 2" of lift but I still had to flatten the seam on the inner wing and trim the mudflaps and front bumper.

Ok thanks that is what I was afraid of & didn't really want to lift the truck so I will have to have a rethink.

If it's any help I ended up fitting a set of Goodrich all terrains on mine. I had been thinking about the 265's but after reading a few threads on here I went for 245/75/16 and they fit great with no rubbing at standard height. I know bigger is better with tyres but it's just a work vehicle so I don't want to be doing too much to mine.
