If your changing shocks just drop the axle down a bit and pop the springs in.

I'm doing this tonight, I'm binning my damaged rattly SWB springs and fitting LWB springs.

Is it just a case of removing the bottom shock bolt and the diagonal upper link and slipping the old spring out and new spring in?

remove bottom shocker bolt then jack up as high as you can on the chassis and the springs should drop out.

I have got my old draglink just looking at makeitfits post and trying to get my head around what's involved.

When i did my +2" shocks i still had to use spring compressors.

Chassis jacked up high, both wheels off, ARB disconnected, Panhard disconnected, shocks disconnected and i still couldn't get the old springs off without compressing.

(i hate spring compressors).

I removed rear bottom shock bolt, removed rear wheel.jacked up as high as I could, pressed down on the axle with my foot and out came the old spring.
had to compress the +3 springs a bit to get them back in but didn't have to strip down all the axle to get them off:nenau:nenaumust just be lucky:lol:lol

same with me, just took off arb, and shocks and the old ones fell out

Spring compressors  get out of here :lol
As above, just undo the stupid ARB . Then drop the panhard rod. Bin the socks and out drop da coils :thumbs
Just mind the brake flexi pipes though. You can undo the flexi pipe holder on the trailing arm for plenty of room.
Steering mods defo :D
You'll need a s/h steering box to butcher, er I mean , trim :sly
I can mod the drag link and steering arms for you
