ok, so do i use the same jack point for a trolly jack that id use for the normal car jack

Depends on mounting, some manufacture jacks use the outer sill and if you use a trolley jack on them, they can crush, need to look where your jacking, on the main chassis usually the best or sub frame.

I normally go off the rear axle or chassis depending what I'm doing underneath... :thumbs

If your vehicle comes with a 'scissor jack' that would normally mean 'sill' jacking point.
'bottle' jack would in most cases be for the chassis... :thumbs
