Anyone ever fitted a radiator from a different vehicle to their td terrano ?
If so what's involved ? Can't find a cheap new one, don't really trust ebay junk, just wondering if there's an easy alternative ?

what about getting you're old one reconned? I've had a couple of t2 ones done there is a place close to me that is brilliant 'GAT Radiators' but there must be one near to you.

mine has a lt1 radiator in it
the clips that hold it inplace are not the same size but guess you could just drill a new hole

What's an LT1 ?
One of my holes is knackered anyway, not a problem drilling holes or making brackets up but the pipes might be a problem, just wondering if there was anything close to original.

Should do :thumbs

If not, its just a case of making 2 brackets for the top which is what makeitfit has done :thumbs

The bottom is the same on all i think  just drops into 2 holes :thumbs

That one's on my watch list ! The core size is smaller, mine is 645x455, I arsume it would work just as well ?
Also the mounts are all wrong and the relief pipe goes the wrong way ?

This one's looking favourite at the moment :

but to be honest I'm getting a bit fed up looking on ebay for them. There are at least five different radiators listed for my vehicle, and I've spoken to all the suppliers (expect the LT1 lot). None of them know what they're talking about, bunch of bloody ignorant kids selling stuff they don't even have. If I can find out where they're buying from I'll be laughing !
