Almost Retired gone onto Zero Hours contract

Well having failed to secure a part time contract with my employer (Inchcape Group MB Derby) I have ended my existing contract and gone onto zero hours contract as from the start of this month.

I am working Monday & Tuesday next week and the week after. I have made myself availiable 2 days a week only as this suits me best.

As a bonus I still qualify for staff discount when having MoT or services on my Chrysler 300C Diesel and on the wifes SL.

I consider myself very fortunate as being self employed I choose when and if I retire and the number of hours I do, having said that the last few months have seen me do much more that I really wanted, however things are quieting down now, wish you luck anyway, Rick

Zero hours contact is kind of appealing but there is no security there, for someone that relies on that income it's awful risky :thumb2
