All my instruments have failed!

Just back from holiday in the new truck. What an excellent towcar! Pulled 1.2 tonnes of boat & trailer up a gravel slipway with no drama unlike last year in the Galaxy..............

But............a couple of days ago all the instruments died: No speedo, no fuel guage, no temp guage, no tacho! Also the low screenwash light is permanently on (and it's full!). The LCD display is on, but no external temp reading, and the mileage is not changing. All other warning lamps seem fine. All the fuses are fine. No obvious loose connections, but I am looking pretty much at random.

Any ideas? Many thanks.

Panic over.

I've disconnected the wiring to the washer bottle after removing the battery to gain access. Now reconnected and all is well, so I suspect that disconnecting the power has reset something.

Sorry I don't have any ideas for you but I'm sure this has come up before so you could try looking through the previous threads to see if there is anything on there.

yes arthur had problems like this when he altered the clock to european time or something, i told him to disconnect the battery for upto 24hrs and let the ecu drain etc, then reconnect to reboot the system as to speak, and it worked,
