Do you think these will be effected after adding spring spacers and winding up the torsion? Or is it purely a lift?

Yes will need doing. Choose a tyre centre that actually knows how to track a lifted terrano, maverick. When mine was lifted x2 tyres places said it couldn't be tracked because it was lifted. I went to bush tyres in the end who got it spot on and it only cost me a case of beer.

Cheers Gav

Ive got options, here was my weekend schedule, tyres sat morn, and wheel alignment at same place. Then Sunday at ricks place. Perhaps I should leave the alignment until after the lift. Question is - will a week of driving with the tracking not done do the new at tyres harm? I'll be doing 200 miles on Sunday...

I would get the tracking done ASAP and get it checked again once you do the lift... Reason is, depending on how far it is out, it can do a lot of damage to new tyres in a very short time. In the past, I had a car take a brand new set of tyres out in less than 2000 miles, because of tracking, and I did not know...

Not only that, but bad tracking also puts more wear on other parts of the suspension.

Damage is done to the tyre straight away. After 200 miles or so any run off will cause more later. Even after correcting track and camber

I'm stuck then really...

Mabye I should just get tracking then lift, will be better than no tracking atall, mine have worn on inner edge badly:doh

Lift first then tracking.

Cheers Gav

Yup exactly what I did. Should have bought the tyres through the shop would have been free fitting, coz i didn't it cost me 50 quid for fitting, feel violated.
