aircon question again

my aircon aint working at all. relevant switches light up dont hear or feel it cut in.is it likely cos it wants regassing or knackered.
any ideas please.

If nothing is working, there is a pressure switch on the drier unit (close to O/S headlight I think) this switch will inhibit operation if there is not sufficient gas pressure in the system. Easy to check just a 2 wire connector on top of the drier unit.

10-1 short of gas, i.e. you have a leak.

Acouple of big faves on the T2 - condensor, or either the line that sits across the top of the condensor (they rot under the rubber bits) or the line that runs under the clip by side of rad passenger side.

yup, id say its certainly out of gas, likely a leak but i suppose you wont find that out untill you get it tested. The system will certainly stop working if there is no gas, otherwise you risk getting a face full of bacteria!
