Aircon pump to compressor

For some reason I can't search using my tablet.

Question is has anyone converted there a/c pump into a compressor ?

Do not know if has been done, certainly feasable but you will need a method of getting the oil back into the compressor, a small bleed from the bottom of the reciever to the inlet perhaps, Rick

the landy boys do it. there are two types, one has its own sump, one doesnt, and needs oil.

cant remember off hand, but will see if i can dig it out from the archives
