aircon problems i think!!

Hi all, just wondering if it worth looking into my aircon not working on my r reg LWB Terrano, 2.7 TDi. when i press the AC button it lights up blue bu nothing happens. i checked the fuse box and the 15amp fuse was missing!! so put one in but no different. where do i start? where about under the bonnet is the aircon bits and pieces? only had nissan for a week so not learnt my way round let!!

Chances are there's no gas in it. Could try a regas at KwikFit, they charge about £45 and refund you if it doesn't fix it. Chances are theres a leak somewhere tho. Some companies who regas will use a dye too so you can trace leaks.

look or the air con pipes running from heater to rad in front, on them you will find two plastic screw covers remove one and inside you will see a pin, press it to see if gas at high pressure comes out, chances are nothing will happen, = no gas, = leak, Rick
