Eh, you have NO light or a light on all the time?
If your light is flashing all the time it shouldnt fail the MOT.... my old one didnt! I tried the download but it didnt work, got a mate with a laptop to re-set it, which worked till the missus moved the drivers seat forwards :doh

Take it it must be the sensor under the seat... but I just stuck a bit of tape over so I couldnt see it flash no more! :lol

i have no light at all not even when the ignitoin is first turned on

does that meen all the dash has to come out? i wouldnt know were to start:lol

Yes had mine out a while ago for a couple of bulbs but memory is a bit dim on exactly how but a few screws is all as far as I can think any how it was not hard, Rick OH sorry just realised yours is a Patrol, but I should not think it is a ot different,.

Would imagine bulbs gone would be first thing to look for. They do seem to go now and then. Are you sure all the fuses are ok? I think the service manual explains how to remove the dash. I know when I removed the dash relatively recently to change bulbs I got the instructions from this site somewhere on how to remove the dash. As mentioned, its not a very big job and mostly a matter of a few screws.

ok ill put tit on my ever increasing to do list:D

thanks for the replies larson
