Airbag sensors and ecu location.

I'm taking more parts off my old Buggered swb 96 reg and I'm wondering where the airbag crash sensors are:doh. Ohh yes and airbag ecu. The airbag steering wheel has been removed and is now on my 93 lwb because it looks better than the Old gray steering wheel.

I think mine was under the rear section of the centre console.... Siemens module IIRC.

It certainly is on the facelift models....my MkIII and IV both have the aforementioned Siemens module :thumb2

It's not there on mine. It's a square headlight model

Never seen square headlight one with airbag are you sure it was wired up or has someone just fitted it from later car

Yep. Because it had a airbag squib on the steering column

ANd there Is a airbag light that came on when you turn the ignition on
