Air vents

I've got a poss mod in mind but will have to take out the drivers side air vent but don't want to damage it so hows the best way to get it out ?

I get them out by putting hacksaw cut in dash but dont suppose you want to do that:lol other than that they usually beak

No don't really fancy cutting my dash up:augie which part breaks ? want to keep the one fitted at the min so it can be refitted if I sell the motor

I made a couple of rough hooks from some lengths of round 1/8" steel and pulled them out by engaging the hook ends either side of the frame (not the flaps, as cncfabs says, they will break).

Depending on how much room there is inside the air vent i'm thinking of poss mounting my 2 gauges in it:thumb2
