Good afternoon

On a couple of threads I have read about airjacks and lifting bags.

Can anyone send me some info about these, I can see them being very useful for lifting the terrano while I'm off road.

I have tried googling and all I seem to be able to find is the drapper 3 tonne lifting bag that is filled from your exhaust.

All help greatly appreciated

Most fill from exhaust ,like all things you get what you pay for. Have a look on utube on airlift jacks/bags.

Yep, I've seen lots of the Draper exhaust jacks on Ebay. I'm not convinced that they are man enough to lift my Patrol.

The only other UK exhaust jack I've seen is the Easylift which looks better but is expensive. See: http://www.air-jack.com/

The best I've seen is probably the Bushranger X-Jack (Australian). They are cheaper than the Easylift and they have a compressor connection - for those (such as me) who have a Patrol, which has an exhaust with an end that is cut at any angle, so the exhaust type attachment will not fit. See: http://www.bushranger.com.au/xjack.php and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-dB6gc0Q7A

One problem would be the freight costs from Australia - though we might be able to save some of that if a few of us wanted one. I've Emailed Bushranger to ask if they have a UK or European distributor.

Cheers
Andrew
